Bounce Rock Skate returns on the first friday of every month with joint venture fam Soul Collective LA, Nu-Soul Mag, and RkEntertainment. For over 5 years on Tuesdays, Bounce Rock Skate was the premiere soul event in Los Angeles, being one of the first events to feature and promote the burgeoning “Neo-Soul” movement. Now we are back! Same space, different night!

Soul Collective Launch Party Friday July 4th

Many of you remember when Bounce Rock Skate was the premiere choice on Tuesdays to get your fix of the latest in the nu-soul movement with soul acts as Kindred, Sy Smith, Kim Hill, The Rebirth, Keite Young, Yolanda Johnson, Meshell N’Dege Ocello, DJ Spinna and DJ’s rockin the new to the lost urban classics. Well its time to get your fix on once again for Bounce Rock Skate has joined a united front called the Soul Collective LA.

Its purpose: to unify the Los Angeles soul movement under one roof on Friday nights where BRS got its start, Boardner’s. This Friday is the Soul Collective “Hotter Than July” Launch party with partners Soul Food, The Specialists Agency, Nu-Soul Magazine, RK Entertainment, & Funky Lemonade coming together to showcase what you will be getting each and every Friday night. Bounce Rock Skate, will be doing every First Friday, so mark your calendars for we are back once again.
